Yes, “it will be well and sound” Bou Khaled

In response to a previous article, titled "We Will Burn," and as usual, Bou Khaled his Excellency Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled commented on the article with two words: "Dear Bou Othman, God willing, it will be well and sound." Yes, indeed, things will be well and sound, Bou Khaled, but to lead the country to its best, it needs a large dose of discipline and chastisement. Indeed, we have begun to witness and feel its signs, as the approach of the new government headed by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nawaf is clearly visible. This approach, although it was only a few weeks old, has begun to improve the country's status and we see many leaders working hard because their positions are not fortified anymore, which reflects positively on the performance of employees. I will tell you a short story. I had a transaction in the Ministries Complex that I commissioned my daughter to carry out. She said, "Today is Thursday, and I will not find any of the employees working." It seems to me that she has not executed any transactions since a period. Then she called me, and here I spoke first, telling her: "Did you not have enough time to finish the transaction, or are there no employees? She answered me: "No, I am talking to you from the new ministry complex parking, which seems to be very tidy, and this is my first time here." She continued: "The colors and designs of the complex are very beautiful though, modern and bold." Then she sent me pictures from there, and I told her: "Let the building and try to finish the transaction before the employees leave." A half-hour later, she called me, saying: "The transaction is done." Frankly, I was surprised, and she continued: "All the employees are on duty, even though it is Thursday, and the time is past twelve in the afternoon. In addition, the way they are treated is excellent." She asks me: "Dad, what is happening?" She replied, "This is the effect of the discipline and chastisement of the New Testament." The second story, which I really liked and reflected the reality of the situation more than the first, is "The exciting awakening of the municipality." Their campaigns against illegal basements, building violations, media coverage, and the appearance of officials in pictures seem to indicate that municipal workers must have a catalyst to implement the law. As I remember, their last appearance was during Bou Khaled's governance of the capital's governorate, in which he led effective campaigns against violations of the capital, and after he assumed the portfolio of the Ministry of Defense, the municipality employees did not do their work as they used to. I think that the best at applying the sponge policy are the municipality managers; the policy that depends on the ability to shrink under pressure and return immediately to its nature after the removal of that pressure. What I mean here is that government agencies work well under pressure, and therefore, I hope the Council of Ministers will make its policy of constant pressure until the sponge dissolves and loses its deflationary characteristic, and in this way, outstanding performance and respect for the law and its application become the norm and not the exception. I conclude with the dear brother "Bou Khaled." For the record, my first contact with Bou Khalid was through a phone call in which he commented on one of my articles, followed by a brief visit in which I gave him one of my books. Communication continued through his comments on my weekly articles. To be honest, I expected that upon taking up the new ministerial position and his many responsibilities, he would not be free to comment on my writings, but this did not happen, as his comments continued. This, of course, shows the extent of his interest in what the writers express as an understanding of society, as well as his high morals and humility, which are not a matter of dispute. I remember during my visit that we discussed the problem of demographics, and I did not comment on it at the time due to a lack of time, but I would like to comment now: Demographics have two solutions: The first is the elimination of forgers of citizenship, because those are the ones who disturb the Kuwaiti demographics and threaten citizenship and the future of the country. The second solution is easy. It is to strongly confront the residency dealers and punish every employee who signed a transaction for any loose labor. Since violators of the law and bulk labor do not appear on their own, each of them works through a sponsor or from within a company, and every sponsor and every company is working through an employee who has allowed them this free labor. Dear Bou Khaled, I deeply applaud you for assuming the position. I, and every honorable citizen, are with you and support you, and God willing, things will be well and sound.
